Recently Government of India had increased the dearness allowance (DA) & Dearness Relief (DR) of Central Government employees. This increase will take effect from 01 January 2024.
Current Dearness Allowance (DA) of Central Government hiked to 50% w.e.f. January 2024
The employees / pensioners will be given 50% DA / DR from 01 January 2024 onwards. This will benefit 48+ lakh Central Govt. employees as it will increase their total salary. It is also a great news for 70 lakh pensioners as now they will get more money. Arrears will be given to employees.
