UPPCL JE Salary 2024 Pay Scale

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) had released advertisement for 173 posts of Junior Engineer (JE) Trainee Electrical (cadre E&M) through advt no. 07/VSA/2021/JE. Those who want to apply can check salary and pay scale details of UPPCL Junior Engineer posts.

UPPCL will fill 173 posts of Junior Engineer through written exam only. Candidates should have diploma in Electrical engineering to be eligible for application on this post. Age requirement is between 18 to 40 years for General. Those who qualify CBT, have to appear for Document verification.

When UPPCL appoints a new Junior Engineer in Corporation, it puts the candidate in Pay Matrix Level 7 of 7th Pay commission which gives basic pay of Rs. 44900 per month (minimum level in revised pay matrix). Also various allowances such as Dearness allowance HRA etc. are given which are revised time to time.

UPPCL JE Pay Scale

The starting basic pay of UPPCL JE is Rs. 44900 per month. Allowances depends on the government. Various allowances are calculated on this 44900 basic pay and added to it making it total salary as follows.

As per this pay scale, the starting total salary for UPPCL Junior Engineer post is around Rs. 71000-75000. This will depend on posting place and allowances given by department whether you get higher salary or a bit lower.

UPPCL JE Salary Structure 2024:

  • Pay Scale: Level 7; Rs. 44900 in 7th CPC
  • Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 44900
  • Dearness Allowance: 50% of Basic pay
  • Total salary after adding basic pay and all allowances: Rs. 71000-75000 per month.
  • Deductions: around 7000 – NPS (10% of Basic pay) and other taxes as applicable.
  • Net in Hand Salary: Rs. 64000-68000 per month
Dearness allowance is revised every six months by the state government after revision from Central govt. Increments are given to the candidate yearly. As far as promotions are concerned, candidate can get promoted to the post of SDO after some years of service. On SDO post, they gets higher pay scale and thus salary.
After appointment, candidate have to go through training program for a period as specified by UPPCL.
