Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), A Uttar Pradesh Govt undertaking, had released advertisement for 113 posts of Assistant Engineer (AE) Trainee (under E&M cadre) through advt no. 01/VSA/2022/AE/E&M.

UPPCL AE Salary 2024 in Starting and Pay Scale
UPPCL will fill 113 posts of Assistant Engineer Trainee (E&M cadre). Selection list will be prepared on the basis of written exam and interview. Selected candidate will be put under training for a period to be decided by UPPCL. After successful training period, candidate shall be considered for absorption as per UPPCL Rules.
When UPPCL appoints a new Assistant Engineer on regular basis, candidate is given Pay Scale of Pay Matrix Level 10 of 7th Pay commission which gives starting basic pay of Rs. 59500 per month (minimum level in revised pay matrix). Along with basic pay, various allowances like Dearness allowance HRA etc. are given which are revised time to time.
The starting basic pay of UPPCL Assistant Engineer is Rs. 59500 per month. Based on this basic pay, various allowances are calculated added to it to calculate total salary.
As per this pay scale, the starting total salary for UPPCL Assistant Engineer post is around Rs.95000-100000. This salary may differ to some extent depending on posting place of candidate and allowances given by department.
UPPCL Assistant Engineer Salary Structure:
- Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 59500 per month
- Dearness Allowance: 50% of Basic pay, Other Allowances as admissible
- After adding basic pay and all allowances, UPPCL AE Total salary will be around Rs. 95000-100000 per month.
- Deductions: around 9000
- Cash in Hand Salary: Rs.86000-91000 per month
Candidates should have degree in related branch of engineering to apply for this post. Degree obtained through distance learning are not considered for these posts. Age should be between 21 to 40 years for General. Age is relaxable for reserved categories. Those who qualify CBT, have to appear for interview. 2 Times category-wise vacancies, candidates will be called for interview.
